* General day-to-day operation of the program
* Met with the Musical Theatre Performance Committee
* Mentored and met with the Musical Theatre Performance majors
* Produced, directed and choreographed RAGTIME, RHYTHM & ROCK, a touring cabaret of 16 students.
-Booked touring production for 26 performances throughout Michigan and Illinois. brought in revenue of $7,100.00
-Recruited students for Western Michigan University through this venture
* Created and conceived Western Michigan University Theatre Auditions (W.M.U.T.A.) -Auditions for summer stock theatres to audition students for summer stock positions both in performance and technical design, which have become an annual event for Western Michigan University.
* Auditioned 120 potential candidates for the Musical Theatre Performance degree, the highest number of applicants to date (12 were selected)

Professional Experience

1987-1997

National Touring Company evolved as 3D PRODUCTIONS, INC.; S.P. LIMITED, L.L.C;3D II INTERNATIONAL, INC., 3D II L.L.C. yet remained a national, non-union, theatrical touring company which traveled by bus and truck to all the continental States and Canada, offering Broadway-quality musicals to towns ranging from mid-sized to small and including college circuit. Advanced from co-owner and president, to manager and member, to president and owner. Responsibilities:

-Managed and allocated annual budget (up to $3 million)
-Secured and oversaw agents
-Selected shows; secure rights and titles
-Developed and produced publicity and marketing campaigns
-Set funding (bank loans; deposits from venues; monies from foundations); allocated funds (to truck and bus, payroll, costumes, sets, sound, employee transportation, accommodations, lights, etc.)
-Dealt with executive directors of venues (universities, performance centers,
civic centers, auditoriums)
-Managed pre-production scheduling (selection of lighting, sound, costume, and set designers; director, music director, choreographer, stage managers and production assistants)
-Conducted auditions in New York (employed both Equity and non-Equity depending on shows)
-Wrote contracts and employee guidelines, prepare "employee packet" -Administered payroll
-Scheduled rehearsals ( show ready to go on road in 10-14 days)
-Accompanied shows for 10 days for fine tuning; spot checks during season of 15- 20 weeks
